What do I do with my web design template after I buy one?
Typically these are the steps to using your web design template:
- Use the search tool at left to locate a design template you like.
- Purchase and download the template.
- If you are a web site developer type, you can make any needed changes or tweaks yourself using Photoshop for image/art changes, or an HTML program for html changes. If you don’t know how to do those things you will need a web developer to do them — look on Craigslist for a local developer, or do a Google search for ‘affordable web design’ or ‘hire a web developer’.
- Make the changes you need – typically these are small things such as relabeling the main categories or tabs, changing our photos to make sense for your needs, and rewriting text as needed.
- Upload the site to your website hosting account. If you don’t have one, get a web hosting account here, they are about $5.00 a month.
- Test your site to make sure everything works
- Tell all your friends and submit your site to Google
